Plot
In this supernatural winter epic set in the 19th century, a drunken apple salesman must go from nothing to become a hero and become the greatest fur trapper in North America by defeating hundreds of beavers. Director Mike Cheslick estimated that the mascot’s costumes cost around $10,000 and the crew bought all the costumes online.

After Watson Beaver “faints”, his mustache falls off & he lands in the snow as he stands up. He wears it again in the next scene, although he walks away from it without picking it up.
Creative and very funny
Jean Kayak and his Acme Applejack Written and produced by Wayne Tews, engineer and co-producer Karl Landwehr. His wild slapstick comes from Looney Tunes and silent movies, but it also feels very original.
You even have Olivia Graves in a role reminiscent of Little Red Riding Hood
It seems like he’s going to be weak, but the antics get funnier as time goes on, helped considerably by Cheslick’s great sense of pacing and use of misdirection. It’s all “cartoon violence” but some of the deaths are wonderfully gruesome – and somehow acceptable, despite depicting the disgusting act of animal capture.
